PPA concluded its first of SNS (Support Needy Students) Project yesterday, 05th June, 2008 at the Principal's Office of Zahira College, Colombo.
PPA were able to pay their facility fees for the current year and also distributed stationery among the 8 students. The students were picked by the college authorities and they all rank in their respective classes within 1st and 5th and their average marks are 70 and above. The students were from Grade 8, 9, 10 and 11.
The Secretary, PPA, Ramzeen Slamath said, "I would like to thank all those who contributed towards this project. And I would like to highlight the Group of 90's, UAE for their willingness to come forward and donate Rs.36,000/- to the SNS project through the Past Prefects’ Association (PPA)."
