Zahirians in UAE will be fielding 3 teams for this year's Inter-School Cricket Tournament organised by the Lanka Lions SC on Friday, 30th January, 2009 at Sharjah Wanderers RFC grounds, Sharjah from 8am onwards.Teams are named as Zahira Maroons, Zahira Greens and Zahira Whites. Zahira Maroons will be captained by Muhsin M. Firaz. Imran Marso and Murad Bongso will lead Zahira Greens & Zahira Whites respectively.
For the past two consecutive years the "Zahira Maroons" emerged as Cup runners-up.
