Zahira Cricket Club UK became the 2nd Division Champions of Elliott Davis London Cricket League 2009.
ZCC UK will be hopefully continue playing in the same league or venture off to a better league to improve their playing skills.
Nihar Farook of ZCC UK got recognised for taking 7 wickets in a match to become the highest number of wicket taker in a match in the entire league.
In the 2009 season Nibraz Nizam scored 332 runs with an average of 33.20, Majeed Mohideen 324 24.92 and Rizwan Ghouse 290 22.31. Nihar Farook with 23+ wickets was the highest wicket taker for ZCC UK. Majeed Mohideen, Mushtaq Sameem and Shimaz Thahir took 17, 15 and 14 wickets respectively.
