azzahira.com came to life due to few simple reasons. One, to bring all Zahirians together (to motivate and encourage them with good and positive news about our college) and two, is a very simple selfish reason (sorry) is to keep in touch with fellow Zahirians and to get to know what is happening at college while I am away, as I have been away from Sri Lanka :-). Three, cause Zahira College, Colombo didn't have a website at that stage. Four, an unofficial website about our college will give us lot of creative freedom. Five, to digitally store all archives of the college (still to be achieved) if possible, if time permits... Insha Allah.
Keep us informed to keep fellow Zahirians informed from around 53 countries (yes, even I am a bit surprised). azzahira.com is accessed by Zahirians from 53 countries. Mostly accessed by Zahirians from Sri Lanka, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and so on even from Seychelles.
The most common question fellow Zahirians ask me is "Why there is no frequent update?"... well, unfortunately not much happens around the college apart from the day to day college life to be honest.... Even if something happens unfortunately, I do not get the info on time. Those who are responsible are doing their level best to keep me informed as they too are busy but still they are finding time to help our college in whatever ways or means.
